Brevity Box

Rae has been a close friend to me and my amazing and lovely wife Brooke (she will punish me if i don't say that, lol) for many many years. Rae is a medical professional in nursing and is currently pursuing a Nurse Practitioner degree in California. We both have deep affection for Rae. Rae was a "bridesmaid" in our wedding due to how closely we feel about our friendship. Patient, loving, kind, well spoken, funny, intelligent, essentially everything you could want in a friend, confidant or family. Rae is a special individual before anything else. Rae is also the first person that I could say that I am close too that is Transgender. specifically non-binary. It is something that Rae and I have never discussed and I thought that the podcast presented an opportunity to capture 3 friends (Brando was a groomsman for me and represents another cherished member of our quilted family of friends) discussing the many topics that surround being a medical professional in the time of the pandy, as well as simply being in California during so much activity in the state concerning everything from lockdowns to wildfires. It is also a chance for Rae to elucidate the 2 of us on what it means to be trans as well as some of the obstacles that it presents in normal life and the power of discovering ones identity
